For member organisations
Each member holds one true fragment of a vehicle's story. Logbook joins them into a registry every member can rely on — with every lookup audited, every entry attributable, and every warning computed from the whole picture.
The offering, by stakeholder
Membership is organised by organisation type: each type records the events in its own lane, and the platform enforces the lanes.
Insurers
Lenders & banks
Motor dealers
Customs brokers
Garages & inspection stations
Police & government
How membership works
Access is granted to vetted organisations; every staff member signs in as themselves, with roles. Dealer verification is renewed, not permanent.
A search or report pull requires a stated purpose and is written to the audit trail before results are returned. Every report carries a number and a verification hash so it can be reproduced exactly.
Entries are never edited or deleted: a mistake is corrected by a superseding entry, and a challenged entry is flagged through the dispute process — visible history, never a silent rewrite.
The portal generates each entry form from the registry's event catalogue, so your staff only ever see the events your organisation may record, with exactly the right fields.
Policy renewals, stock lists and import manifests upload as CSV with a validate-first preview. Rows the registry has already seen are skipped, so re-uploads are always safe.
Everything the portal does runs through an API designed for system-to-system integration and mobile use, with the same purpose-and-audit discipline.
Membership is open to licensed insurers, lenders, motor dealers, customs brokers, garages and law-enforcement agencies operating in the Cayman Islands.
